To send a text message via email, you must use a SMS to email gateway. Just substitute a 10-digit cell number for ‘number’ for each carrier below:
NOTE: No spaces and/or symbols such as dashes, – or ()
Example: If your mobile cell number is (314) 555-8697 and your carry is through AT&T, your SMS email text would be 3145558697@txt.att.net.
